Our team’s interest in Cannabidiol stems from personal witness to its positive effects on loved ones.
Interest turned to enthusiasm as we learned of CBD’s healing effects in areas, including: Seizures, Insomnia, Pain Relief, Anxiety, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Enthusiasm turned to passion as we learned of the challenges in the industry: Lack of Standardization, Regulatory Issues, Safety Concerns, Supply Chain Bottlenecks, and Misinformation.

Phillip Thompson
Founder & CEO
Phillip carries out our Mission Statement through Strategy Development, Operational Leadership, and Performance Management. He has over 20 years of experience in the Civil Construction industry throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Phillip holds leadership roles within the numerous companies he has founded, including Commercial Construction, Real Estate, and Custom Home Building. In these roles, he actively employs more than 200 people.
Mark Smith
Chief Financial Officer
Mark is responsible for our financial oversight, fulfillment of key banking relationships, and the creation of strategic capital. He has over 30 years of professional finance and accounting experience, spanning various industry sectors, such as Oil & Gas, Real Estate, and Entertainment. .
Lance Each
Executive Vice President
Lance oversees Business Development and Supply Chain. With a diverse 25 year background in Global Logistics, Lance has worked with the best operating supply chains in the world, and in dozens of countries, including multi-year expatriate assignments in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He has lead from a variety of roles in each of the Operations, Sales, and Marketing functions to optimize the global movement of fast moving consumer goods.
Michael Willard
Horticulturist
Michael brings the art, science, and technology to the cultivation of our seeds, starts, and plants. He has 50 years of leading his own nursery, plant brokerage, and landscaping businesses. Having overseen the care for hundreds of plant species, Mike has invested the past several years to perfecting his knowledge and care for hemp in the areas of green housing, outdoor growing, pollination, feminization, and breeding.
Kim Courtright
Quality Assurance & Control
Kim is a Microbiologist with nearly 30 years of experience in predictive product quality, flavor volatiles, and food packaging; and has run large-scale manufacturing and laboratory QA/QC programs. Along with leadership in the processed meats and dairy industries, Kim has a 26-year tenure at global snack food giant, PepsiCo-Frito Lay. She actively participates with Life Science Global Advisors/Millipore-Sigma, the Agilent Customer Advisory Board, and the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.
Judith Jaile
Research & Development
Judith is a Chemist with nearly 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical, food, environmental, and criminal laboratories where she has lived her passion through taking-on challenges with product degradation & shelf-life, and methods for quantifying compounds. Her practical knowledge of advanced instrumentation, testing, and general wet chemistry techniques have been applied to the creation and modification of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as well modification and implementation of extraction and purification methods of the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and European Pharmacopoeia (EP).
